The year and location are unknown.
A parasite has been spreading, entering and controlling the bodies of any living thing it comes in contact with. The bacteria from this virus mutates and changes the cells of those it enters; morphing the body, emotions, and even abilities of its host in grotesque ways.The origin of this virus is unknown, but the non infected have started to suspect a correlation between the appearance of this mysterious parasite and the ever growing suspicion that the spiritual boundaries between universes have been torn and crippled. Beings never meant to meet come face to face with each other, forming different ripples to be created in an already dark water. Blackening that water further, the ones who seem to be least affected by the parasite seem the be sinful, twisted, and insane. Murderers, psychos, demons, monsters, sadists, and other outcasts of a society long gone will attempt to put aside temptation and emotions (or lack there of) in order to work towards similar goals. Goals that may seem good and justified on the surface, but that is just the simple sugar coat for the more sinister and selfish goals underneath. But in a world where justice need not exist, the only thing that matters is those who have those goals to hold on to, not who holds them or the purpose.
